Forty one years ago today, "Three Days of Peace and Music" – drawing nearly a half million people to a water-soaked, muddy dairy farm some 50 miles from Woodstock, N.Y. - was well underway. Arlo Guthrie, Sweetwater, Joan Baez and others already had performed. Yet to come before Woodstock concluded were The Who and Jimi Hendrix. Like many others, we reflected last year on this transforming generational event. We also took notice of two innovations available today that didn't exist then - recycling and access to bottled water. We at Sip & Savor are proud of the role beverage industry plays in these contributions. Here's what we observed on Woodstock’s 40th anniversary.
