These companies have made a commitment to reduce beverage calories from sugar by 20 percent per person by 2025. Yep, you read that right - these three fierce competitors are working together to help people cut the sugar and calories they get from beverages.
They’re doing this through a number of aggressive actions including offering smaller portion sizes and beverages with less sugar or no sugar at all —in stores and restaurants down the street and across the country with a focus on places with high rates of obesity. And they’re giving people the encouragement and information – like the stickers on coolers – to help them cut back on their sugar and calories.
America’s beverage companies know they have a role to play in improving public health because they too want a strong and healthy America. That’s why they’ve been hard at work for years putting forward meaningful solutions to issues like obesity.
