This year, AAA predicts that Thanksgiving travel will increase slightly from last year – with 43.6 million Americans traveling at least 50 miles from home over the holiday. With that report, many will be using this weekend to prepare for family and friends who will be visiting. The brave ones will face the crowds and head to the grocery store to stock up on all the staples for a Thanksgiving feast – stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, potatoes for mashing and whipping, pumpkin, apple and pecan pies and of course - the turkey!
