On June 14 every year, we recognize the adoption of the United States flag.  Through an Act of Congress in 1949, this day became officially recognized by the federal government as a national holiday.

We know it’s not Independence Day just yet, but we’re still feeling patriotic on this day.  With the summer heating up, and the Olympics poised to kick off in London soon – we’re about ready to throw on some red, white and blue!
