The beverage industry touches every state in the country, providing local jobs and making beverages in hometowns. Recently the Kentucky Beverage Association (KBA) showcased the local beverage industry's impact on their state at their annual beverage day at the state Capitol in Frankfort.

The KBA highlighted the work the industry is doing to cut sugar from beverages, displaying a variety of no- and low-calorie beverage options we offer as well as smaller portion sizes. They also discussed the industry's important contributions to the Kentucky economy, including nearly 3,800 beverage production and distribution jobs. The industry supports another 12,800 jobs in other business sectors like restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores and movie theaters.
