September 11^th stands as one of the most significant days in our country’s history. And as we remember the day sixteen years later, we reflect on the tragedy, but we also remember how our country came together in the aftermath. From the first responders in Manhattan, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania to the outpouring of support from citizens across the country, our nation’s strength in the face of tragedy was extraordinary.

Sixteen years later, our strength as a nation when we come together, continues to persist. With the recent devastation from Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma, rescuers from near and far have rushed to offer aid and people nationwide are supporting those in Texas and Florida however they can.

It’s in these moments that we are reminded about the greatness of our country and we will never forget the victims and those who have sacrificed for us all.
