Did you ever wish you knew how many calories were in a beverage before choosing one at a vending machine?
With America’s beverage companies new Calories Count™ Vending Program, now you can “check before you choose.”
The Coca-Cola Company, Dr Pepper Snapple Group and PepsiCo are working with government leaders, food service operators, vending companies and other customers to introduce new stickers on the front of beverage vending machines to remind consumers that “calories count” when making beverage choices and encourage them to “Check then Choose” or “Try a Low-Calorie Beverage.” Calorie labels also will be added to the selection buttons to show calorie counts per beverage container – so you can choose the beverage that’s right for you.
Today our companies offer a wide range of portion sizes to help individuals and parents choose beverages that are right for them and their families.
Beverages packaged for individuals are now packaged in sizes ranging from 6 ounces to 20 ounces with many options in between. It’s innovation to find the right fit.
We’re looking forward to more innovation and more choices in 2013. Have a wonderful and safe New Year’s Eve.
