Following behind a number of media outlets, today we thought we would acknowledge that it is Star Wars Day.  Yes, it is in fact named after the 1977 George Lucas film featuring Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, Yoda – the list goes on.

Being the fourth day of May, now you will be less baffled if you pass someone on the street and they say, “May the Fourth be with you” in reference to the famous phrase from the cult classic – May the Force be with you.  After all, Star Wars fans are a witty bunch.

And since we regularly tie our posts back to beverages – we thought this tidbit would be interesting: in the original Star Wars, Luke Skywalker was seen pouring a glass of “blue milk.” Now, our member companies may not produce or distribute blue milk, but they certainly have plenty of other refreshing options from which to choose!  Check out the products page on our website and enjoy!
