America’s beverage companies are filled with hard working men and women who are constantly giving back to their communities and it’s always exciting to see them receive recognition for their accomplishments. One of those people is Jack Pelo, president & chief executive officer at Swire Coca-Cola, USA, who is being honored by Utah Business for “Lifetime Achievement” as the 2017 Utah Business CEO of the Year. Swire Coca-Cola, an independent bottler, has been a part of the Salt Lake community for almost forty years.

We are proud to represent America’s beverage companies and the great leaders who come from our industry. These companies give back to their employees, to their neighborhoods and their hometowns because they want a strong and prosperous America.

Our industry employs 240,000 people and we have a direct economic impact of $169.1 billion. On top of that are hundreds of thousands of workers whose livelihoods depend in part on the beverage industry. As engaged members of our communities we know we can be a force for good in our states, cities, towns and neighborhoods.
