Every June, Americans celebrate two events dedicated to the special men in their lives. One is Father's Day this weekend. On this day we honor our Dads for all they've done for us in our lives. The other is Men's Health Week, which kicked off Monday and reminds us all how important it is to achieve the right balance of a healthy diet, exercise and getting regular checkups.
Whether your Dad is a baseball guy, a fishing guy - or even if the most athletic thing he's done is read you those books when you were little - take the time to tell him how much he means to you Sunday. Encourage him to keep up his doctor's appointments - they're important. Then enjoy one of those non-alcoholic treats you used to share when you were a kid.
