Big Red, which was founded in Waco, Texas, is known for its sweet, smooth and indescribable flavor and is well-known among Texans. 

Launched in 1937, the soda was originally called Sun Tang Big Red Cream Soda. Legend has it that the name was changed to Big Red in 1969 after two golf caddies in San Antonio gave it the nickname. Since then, the company has expanded to a wide variety of flavors and can be found in many communities across the South and Midwest.
