The American Beverage Foundation for a Healthy America (ABFHA) each year provides grants to organizations and programs that work to advance both the physical health of their citizens and the environmental health of their communities. Below are the seven grant recipients during the fall 2020 period. 

• The Alameda Health System Foundation will use their funds to purchase 1,500 produce bags for food insecure patients.
• The Florida Sea Grant at the University of Florida plans to use their funds to equip local marinas with the proper tools to remove floating marine debris.
• The Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation will use part of their funds to create a recycling educational toolkit and distribute it throughout the state.
• The funds provided to the Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay will go towards supporting their Youth Watershed Explorers program.
• In New York, Hip Hop Public Health plans to use part of their grant to expand their communication plans and social media outreach.
• The Campaign Against Hunger will use their funds to upgrade their urban farm and incorporate a new aquaponics system.
• The funds awarded to the Columbus Recreation and Parks Foundation will provide disabled youth with access to sports equipment and transportation.  

Since its inception in 2011, ABFHA has partnered with state beverage associations to provide matching funds to 88 separate organizations in 30 states.
