The non-alcoholic beverage industry has a long history of working together with environmental groups and government on real solutions to tough challenges. This is especially true when it comes to protecting our planet and building a more sustainable future. Throughout April, here at Sip & Savor, we have celebrated Earth Month and Earth Day by reaffirming our industry's commitment to conserving resources and preserving the environment. Here's a brief recap of what you might have missed this month.

  • The Coca-Cola Company is making progress toward their World Without Waste goals. Learn more here.
  • Keurig Dr Pepper is investing in a new collaborative effort to bolster recycling in the state of Michigan. Read all about it here.
  • PepsiCo announced a new goal that will help eliminate millions of tons of greenhouse gas emissions. You can find the press release here.

In 2021, America's leading beverage companies will continue to make progress towards reducing the industry's plastic footprint. The Every Bottle Back initiative is investing $100 million into improving recycling systems so our 100% recyclable plastic bottles can be remade into new ones.
