We recently shared some great news about how America’s top food and beverage companies have exceeded their goal with the Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation’s (HWCF) to reduce calories in the marketplace by $1.5 trillion three years ahead of schedule. Today, the HWCF awarded Russell Elementary School a grant through their Find Your Balance Challenge. The awards from the challenge went to elementary schools with outstanding programs that encourage physical activity and balanced diets in their schools.
