You may have read a few headlines about some San Francisco politicians proposing a ban on bottled water on all city property, including food trucks.  Banning plastic water bottles is nothing more than a solution in search of a problem.  It’s a misguided attempt by city supervisors to decrease waste in a city of avid recyclers.

Moreover, bottled water is the purist, safest and cleanest water possible. These containers are 100 percent recyclable, and our member companies are constantly working to further reduce, reuse and recycle the amount of material that goes into packaging.

Because bottled water is portable, its convenience allows you and your family to stay hydrated throughout the day, no matter where you are or what you’re doing.  Water is good for you, and people should be able to choose how they drink it – whether from the tap, a fountain or recyclable container.
